Steel Authority of India (SAIL) had scheduled an auction for 100,000 MT iron ore fines from its Barsua iron ore mines today i.e 09th June’20. The miner fetched bids for 20% of the fines (Fe 62.5%) i.e 20,000 MT put to auction and it received bids at base price i.e at INR 1,400/MT (loaded to rake; Royalty, DMF, NMET & other taxes extra).
Previously, in an auction conducted in Feb’20, SAIL’s Barsua iron ore mines in Odisha received a good response and 60,000 MT iron ore fines (Fe 62%) offered was booked at INR 2,270/MT (loaded to rake, Royalty, DMF, NMET & other taxes extra).
Last week an auction was held for 100,000 MT iron ore fines from SAIL’s Bolani iron ore mines . The miner fetched bids for 40% of the fines (Fe 62.5%) put to auction and it received bids at INR 1,500/MT (loaded to rake; Royalty, DMF, NMET & other taxes extra).
