Country’s steel exports reported massive increase by around 179% to 1.284 MnT in May’20 as compared to 0.429 MnT in previous month. During Apr-May’20 the same surged by 76% to 1.713 MnT as compared to 0.97 MnT in Apr-May’19. Dull domestic demand due to announced lockdown amid COVID-19 resulted to aggressive exports from India.
