Tamil Nadu Newsprint & Papers Limited (TNPL), a state owned company invites bid for Steam Coal (Non-coking) purchase which will be delivered at plant siding at Pugalur, Tamil Nadu.

Bidding process will be based on online reverse auction.

Grade:

• Steam (Non-coking) Coal in bulk quantity of Indonesian/ Australian/ South African/ Chinese origin.
• Gross Calorific Value (ADB): 6,000 kcal/kg
• Total Moisture (ARB): 18%
• Ash (ADB): 8% max 

Quantity: 300,000 MT +/-5% (in 5 shipments about 60,000 MT each)

General Conditions:

• Bidders are advised to quote their prices on C&F Karaikal basis.
• Customs duty and Railway Freight would be paid by TNPL.
• Tenderer should have supplied at least 300,000 MT to Industrial units in India in any one calendar year from 2011-2013. The certificate of the consumer for quantity and satisfactory contract performance should be furnished in original.
• Shipment period for delivery should be from 01 Mar’14-01 Aug’14 and each shipment should have equal quantity of 60,000 MT.
