Steel demand to drop 6.4% in CY’20 due to pandemic – WSA

World Steel Association (WSA) expects steel demand to contract by 6.4% to 1,654 MnT this year due to the coronavirus crisis. However, the demand would recover in CY’21 by 3.8% to 1,717 MnT over CY’20.
