Indian pellet export shipments up 69% in May’20

Indian pellet export shipments increased by 69% M-o-M to 2.06 MnT in May’20 against 1.2 MnT in Apr’20, as per data compiled by SteelMint Statistics. Dull domestic demand and decent export prices were the key reasons behind hike in export volumes. Export shipments to China doubled to 1.9 MnT in May against 1.06 MnT in Apr’20.
