Domestic melting scrap prices in southern India (Chennai) are likely to remain supported on low generation and thus mills based in Chennai (Tamil Nadu) may face difficulty in their regular procurement. This may support price range at current levels for the near term. Current trade reference price of HMS (80:20) is assessed at INR 21,200/MT (+/-) FoR.
