Around ten plants in Raipur, Central India have resumed Ingot/Billet production recently who had kept their decision on hold earlier as they booked good volumes of sponge yesterday. Overall daily output of furnaces would be 3,000 MT, which will mostly be supplied in the spot market. Sources are of the opinion that, billet prices are less likely to remain supported than sponge prices in coming days.
