India’s largest iron ore miner – NMDC has recorded iron ore production of 2.29 MnT and sales of 2.55 MnT in May’20. On monthly basis, miner’s production picked up by 27%, and sales by 85% in May’20 against Apr’20. Reduction in iron ore prices last month and resumption/ramp up of operations of steel units, resulted in increased iron ore sales.
