Iran: Sponge Iron Output Rises 3% Y-o-Y in First Month of Current Year

Iran’s sponge iron production reached 2.54 MnT during the first month of Iranian Calendar (20 Mar’20 – 19 Apr’20), showing 3% growth as compared to the same period in the previous year. Mobarakeh Steel Company emerged as the top producer with 711,500 MT sponge iron produced in the month.
