Goa Mining People’s Front (GMPF) has urged the state government of Goa to allow resumption of mining operations in the state, to boost the state’s economy amid COVID-19 crisis. Mining operations in Goa came to a grinding halt in Mar’18 after Supreme Court quashed 88 mining leases.
