Russia: NLMK Begins Commissioning & Startup of New CCM-9

Russian steelmaker NLMK has begun commissioning and start-up of its new Continuous Casting Machine No.9 (CCM-9) with a production capacity of 1.8 MnT pa at its flagship site NLMK Lipetsk. It will enable NLMK to fully master the production of heavy slabs. The project investment amounted to RUB 12 billion and is expected to be launched by Jun’20.
