Indian Govt Asks Companies to Reduce Imports of Coal for Power Generation

Indian government has asked power generating companies, including NTPC, Tata Power, Reliance Power to reduce the import of coal for blending purposes and replace it with domestic coal as inventories pile up with Coal India Ltd.
