BHP Plans to Expand Iron ore Exports from Port Hedland

World’s major iron ore miner- BHP Group is in planning to expand its iron ore exports from Port Hedland by upto 40 MnT to 330 MnT per year, as per reports. BHP Group FY’20 iron ore production target intact at 273-286 MnT for the fiscal year. The total sales for FY’20 (Jul’19-Mar’20) witnessed 4% rise to 206.2 MnT, as compared to 198.1 MnT for FY’19 (Jul’18-Mar’19).
