India: OMC reports increase in iron ore sales by 29% and production by 18% in FY20

Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC), Odisha state government-controlled entity, has registered a sharp increase of 28.82% in its iron ore sales and 18% in production for FY20.

Iron ore sales spiked from 10.34 million tonnes (mt) in 2018-19 to 13.32 mt in 2019-20. Whereas iron ore production increased from 10.5 MnT in FY19 to 12.4 MnT in FY20.
