Steel Exports of Major Iranian Mills Rise 27% Y-o-Y

Iran’s major steelmakers exported 7.03 MnT in last Iranian year (20th March 2019 to 20th March 2020), up 27% Y-o-Y.

MSC exports increased by 65% (mainly slabs), ESCO by 28%, and SKS by 40%. KSC fell 16% due to its focus on domestic sales, however it remained largest exporter. Despite falling global markets in terms of price and demand, companies continue to sell their products for the next two months.
