Hoa Phat’s construction steel production reached more than 351,000 MT in Mar’20, an increase of 42.2% compared to Mar’19. The export output also reached a very high level with nearly 68,000 MT of finished steel products exported in the month. The various export destinations were – Japan, Cambodia, Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia etc
The company reported strong growth in all regions registering an increase of 2.5 times over the same period in construction steel exports. In addition to it, the company also exported more than 135,000 MT of billet steel to many countries in the world for the first time within a month.
In the context of complicated epidemics, sales volume in the Southern region still reached more than 70,000 MT, making an important contribution to the sales results of Hoa Phat Steel in the month.
Accumulated in the first quarter of CY’20, Hoa Phat construction steel has supplied to the market over 732,000 MT (excluding steel billet production), a slight increase over the same period. In particular, Hoa Phat’s billet supply to the market is about 350,000 MT, mainly for export.
