MOIL has rolled over the existing prices in Mar’20 for all grades of Manganese ore for Q1 FY21 w.e.f 1st Apr 2020. The total quantity of Manganese ore available with MOIL is 133,758MT, out of which 59,241MT is of Ferro Grade and 29,276MT of Silico Manganese grade (SMGR).
Meanwhile, buyers remain concerned over the dispatches due to labour unavailability due to the nationwide 3-week lockdown declared by PM Modi on 24th March 2020 to combat the outspread of Coronavirus pandemic. Although, the lockdown clearly states that the dispatches of essential items will not be affected but there is a panic running down in the country which is preventing the labours from coming to work.
