SAIL/Bhilai Steel Plant invites bid to purchase about 8090 MT of Ferro Silicon covering four months requirement of SAIL Plants on Global Tender basis.
Companies' requirements are tentative and might vary in terms of quantity. The quotations are invited from Indigenous and Overseas suppliers of Ferro Silicon.
General Conditions:
- The total quantity shall be covered in three separate Markets based on different units/plant wise
- Period of Requirement: Dec, 2013 to Mar, 2014
- The order might be distributed to more than one vendor at the discretion of SAIL
- Delivery will be completed within 4 months from the date of placement of back-up orders by individual SAIL plants
Specifications:
- Silicon: 70% Min.
- Carbon: 0.15% Max.
