Billet: Yesterday the price of general carbon billet in Tangshan, Changli and Qian’an was offered at locked price of RMB 3,300/MT. Today, some mills in Changli temporarily stopped offers and sales. Billet transactions is weak. Mill direct sales are boggles with some delivered at RMB 3,800/MT; the ex-warehouse spot price is basically no offer amid cautious waiting stances. Offers on finished steels are few and most markets are in shutdown.
