India: Bids for DR-CLO in NMDC Chhattisgarh Auction Increases by INR 400/MT

India’s largest iron ore miner – National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) conducted today an e-auction of 12,000 MT calibrated lump ore, 16,000 MT ROM, 28,000 MT iron ore fines and 8,000 MT iron ore lumps.

According to market sources report to SteelMint, the entire quantity of DR-CLO offered was booked witnessing a hike of INR 400/MT above the set base price. As per sources, the DR CLO lots received the highest bids at INR 3,675/MT against the set base price of INR 3,275/MT.

However, response to other lots could not be received at the time of publishing this report.

Earlier this month, NMDC Ltd announced a hike in its iron ore prices for Jan’20. Prices of iron ore fines and lumps have been increased by INR 200/MT and in DR-CLO price hike was by INR 230/MT and ROM by INR 190/MT.
