As per data maintained with SteelMint, exports log of South Korea for the month of Nov’19 is as follows:
1. The South Korean semi-finish exports ascended by 7% M-o-M in Nov’19 to 17,644 MT as compared with 16,562 MT in the previous month. However, the same declined significantly on a yearly premise in Nov’19 as against 56,031 MT in Nov’18.
2. The nation’s finish long export volume stood at 2,12,053 MT in Nov’19, up by 7% as against 1,99,112 MT in Oct’19. Meanwhile, the same increased by 7% Y-o-Y in Nov’19 over 1,97,401 MT in Nov’18.
3. South Korea’s finish flat exports went up marginally by 4% to 19,36,637 MT in Nov’19 as compared to 18,68,026 MT a month ago. On a monthly premise, country-wise South Korean finish-flat steel exports surged to China by 24% at 3,90,436 MT, and to Japan by 5% at 2,48,774 MT in Nov’19.
Along with this, catering to the special grade steel demand in India, finish flat steel shipments from South Korea increase and stood at 1,85,076 MT in Nov’19.
However, on a yearly premise, the same ascended by 8% in Nov’19 when compared with 17,89,114 MT in the corresponding month of CY’18.
4. The nation’s ferroalloys exports plunged by 28% M-o-M to 8,860 MT in Nov’19, which was 12,265 MT a month ago. Further, the same slashed by 34% on a yearly premise in Nov’19 in comparison with 13,411 MT in Nov’18.
