Raipur (central India) based pellet manufacturers have increased offers today by INR 400/MT. Following decent bookings in last offers and hike in sponge prices, pellet makers have raised offers.
Current offers for Fe 63% grade stands at INR 7,000/MT (ex-Raipur, GST extra) as against last offers of INR 6,600/MT towards mid of week. In a week’s time Raipur pellet offers have moved up by INR 700/MT.
Pellet deals for around 36,000 MT reported to Raipur and Chandrapur sponge makers in last 3-4 days. Out of this Raipur pellet makers have sold around 32,000 MT at INR 6,500-6,600/MT(Ex-plant); normalizing for freight to Raipur at INR 6,650-6,750/MT (DAP Raipur) and remaining 4,000 MT pellet was sold by Jharsuguda based pellet maker at INR 6,000/MT (EXW) normalizing for freight to Raipur INR 6,650/MT (DAP Raipur).
SteelMint’s assessment for Raipur P-DRI has increased by INR 1,500/MT W-o-W.
