MMTC Issues Tender for Purchase of Imported Steam Coal

MMTC, India’s largest state-owned trading house, has floated a tender for purchase of 4 Lakh Tonnes imported steam coal on behalf of Andhra Pradesh Power Generation Corporation (APGENCO).

The power company intends the coal supplies to be made at two of its plant locations namely-Dr. Narla Tata Rao power station, Vijayawada (2.0 Lakh MT) and Rayalaseema power plant, Muddanur, (2.0 Lakh MT) on ‘Delivered at Power Plant basis’.

Validity: The offers shall have to be kept valid for an initial period of 60 days from the closing date of tender. MMTC may seek an extension of the validity of bids which the bidder may consider to extend.

Tender schedule (IST): The due date for submitting the bids is 27thNov’19 till 12:00 hrs and the opening of the bids is scheduled on the same day at 12:30 hrs.
