Structure prices in Mumbai remains unchanged while in Ahmedabad, increased by INR 300-400/MT in last 2 days.
Ahmedabad Structure prices have move up by INR 400/MT in last 2 days. Also, prices register a sharp improvement of INR 900/MT in a week’s time. Prices increased because of limited availability of raw material. Today, Channel 75 mm is offered at around INR 33,300/MT. During the week, Ingot offers are increased by INR 400/MT.
Average demand and stable prices of Ingot/Billet supports Structure prices to remain firm in Mumbai. As noticed, prices of Structures are same from past 4 days. Ingot and Billet prices are more or less same from a week’s time. Angle 40 mm offers at INR 35,000/MT and Channel 75 mm INR 36,000/MT. Meanwhile, Ingot traded at INR 31,400/MT and Billet at INR 31,600/MT.
According to market players, prices might remain at the same level or show a slight increase owing to low supply of Scrap.
