India: NINL Revises Price for Nut Coke Sales

Nilanchal Ispat Nigam Ltd (NINL), one of the largest integrated Iron and steel plant in Odisha, has revised prices of Nut Coke produced from its coke ovens. The sales price noted on Ex-Plant basis are envisaged for Oct’19 deliveries valid till 25 Oct’19.

Earlier, the company had also revised the price of LAM coke, which emulates Nut coke in terms of grade specification but differs in product size.

Apparently, NINL’s nut coke size ranges from 10-25 mm, which is comparatively smaller in comparison to LAM coke whose size varies from 25-80 mm. The specified grade of Nut coke holds a fixed carbon percentage of 85%.

NINL has set a price of INR 20,020/MT for Nut coke sales up to 2000 MT, while for quantity above 2000 MT the price has been fixed at INR 19,800/MT. Buyers have been requested to pay 100% advance for the entire quantity.

The company has ascertained that delivery would be made by Rail/Road mode, and served on first-come-first-serve basis. Railway indent or loading of trucks will be in the sequence of payment received.

It was also highlighted that all supplies/deliveries are subjected to availability of stock.
