As per data maintained with SteelMint, exports log of South Korea for the month of Aug’19 is as follows:
Nation’s Semi Finished exports declined by 22% on a monthly basis. Also on yearly premise the same witness steep fall in Aug’19 against Aug’18.
Finish Long exports move down by 4% M-o-M basis and 8% Y-o-Y basis in Aug’19.
Nation’s Finish Flat exports remained largely stable on a monthly premise though it witnessed a marginal decline on a yearly basis.
South Korea’s finish flat exports to Japan, USA and Thailand witnessed decline during the month amid, escalating US-China trade tensions and protectionist measures from other nations.
However, exports of Ferro Alloys declined marginally on a monthly basis while the same was reduced significantly on yearly premise in Aug’19.
Further, Finish Flat Stainless Steel exports fell on both monthly and yearly premise in Aug’19.
