Taiwan Power Company (Taipower), a state-owned electric power utility providing electric power to Taiwan and off-shore islands of Republic of China, has invited an open tender for purchase of 640,000 MT of bituminous coal.
The coal should be supplied from Australia, Canada, Chinese Mainland, the Republic of Colombia, South Africa, the United States, and Venezuela.
The power company intends to procure shipments via 8 Panamax size vessels each carrying 80,000 MT coal.
Interested bidder may offer one or more shipments.
