South Korea Steel Export Statistics in Jul’19

South Korea Billet exports decline by 25% M-o-M in Jul’19- South Korea’s billet exports plunged by 25% to 0.03 MnT in Jul’19 in comparison with 0.04 MnT in Jun’19.

Meanwhile on yearly premise the same was halved in Jul’19 over 0.06 MnT in Jun’18.

During first seven months of (Jan-Jul)CY’19 nation’s billet exports stood at 0.22 MnT; slashed by 49% as against 0.43 MnT in (Jan-Jul)CY’18.

Country-wise South Korea billet exports in Jul’19- South Korea billet exports to Japan witnessed at 0.03 MnT in Jul’19, surged by a half as against 0.02 MnT in Jun’19.

Meanwhile imports from Thailand remained nil in Jul’19 which was 0.01 MnT in the preceding month.

South Korea finish long exports up by 5% M-o-M in Jul’19- Nation’s finish long exports witnessed a marginal increase by 5% in Jul’19 to 0.22 MnT which was 0.21 Mnt a month ago.

However on yearly premise the same moved downwards by 4% in Jul’19 as against 0.23 MnT in Jul’18.

During first seven months of (Jan-Jun)CY’19 nation’s finish long exports stood at 1.42 MnT; marginally down by 6% over 1.51 MnT in same time frame of CY’18.

Country-wise finish long exports in Jul’19- Nation’s finish long exports to Japan witnessed at 0.03 MT in Jul’19, remained stable over four months since Apr’19.

Meanwhile nation’s exports volume to Vietnam remained unchanged since Feb’19 and stood at 0.02 Mnt in Jul’19.

Following this exports to Malaysia and Canada accounted for 0.02 MnT each in Jul’19 unchanged for four consecutive months.

Meanwhile South Korea also exported finish long products to USA, Taiwan, India, Thailand and Mexico in smaller quantities in Jul’19.

South Korea finish flat exports rise by 4% M-o-M in Jul’19- South Korea exported 2.04 MnT of finish flat in Jul’19 up by 4% in comparison with 1.96 MnT in the preceding month.

However or yearly premise the same inched down by 2% in Jul’19 as against 2.08 MnT in Jul’18.

During first seven months (Jan-Jul)CY’19 nation’s finished flat imports were recorded at 14.16 MnT, inched up by 1% as compared to 14.06 MnT in same time frame of previous year.

Country-wise South Korea finish flat exports in Jul’19- China remained the largest finish flat importer from South Korea and accounted for 0.27 MnT in Jul’19, ascended by 13% as against 0.24 MnT a month ago.

Meanwhile South Korea’s finish flat exports to Japan upsurged by 24% to 0.26 MnT in Jul’19 which was 0.21 MnT in previous month.

Following this South Korea also exported finish flat steel to India, USA, Mexico, Thailand and Vietnam in Jul’19.

South Korea ferro alloy exports unchanged on monthly basis in Jul’19- Nation’s ferro alloy exports continue to remain stable since Feb’19 and stood at 0.02 MnT in the month of Jul’19.

On yearly premise export volume remain unchanged in Jul’19 as compared to 0.02 MnT in Jul’18.

During first seven months (Jan-Jul)CY’19 nation’s export volume witnessed at 0.11 MnT; witnessed marginal decline of 8% over 0.12 MnT in similar time frame of preceding year.

South Korea finish flat stainless steel exports in Jul’19- Nation’s finish flat stainless steel exports surged by 18% to 0.13 MnT in Jul’19 in comparison to 0.11 MnT in preceding month.

However the same remained largely stable on yearly basis in Jul’19 as against Jul’18.

During first seven months (Jan-Jul)CY’19 nation’s finish flat stainless steel exports witnessed 7% decline to 0.82 MnT which was 0.88 MnT in same time frame of previous year.

Country-wise South Korea finish flat stainless steel exports in Jul’19- South Korea majorly exported stainless steel to Vietnam and Turkey at 0.02 MnT each in Jul’19 while Thailand accounted for 0.01 MnT in Jul’19.
