Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) – state-owned steel maker under the Ministry of Steel, had invited a tender for export of 20,000 MT Billets, 15,000 MT Wire Rod and 25,500 MT Bloom.
The bloom export tender floated was for 150*150 mm with grade IS 2830 Gr A & IS 2830 C20MMn Gr A and the tender due date was 22 Aug and delivery schedule of 30 Sept’19. According to market sources report to SteelMint, the company has concluded the export tender at around USD 400/MT, FoB India levels.
However other lots offered remained cancelled amid limited participation.
Prior to this the company had floated ocean export tender for 20,000 MT Billets, 10,000 MT Wire Rod 20,000 MT Bloom and 10,000 MT Cast Round.
According to market sources report to SteelMint, the company concluded the billet export tender for size 150*150mm of quantity 20,000 MT, sources reported to SteelMint. As per sources, the tender was concluded at around USD 410-415/MT, FoB India. The shipment is scheduled in mid Sept’19.
This week billet export assessment from CIS nations stands at USD 395-400/MT, FoB Black Sea, down by USD 5-10/MT against last week. The market sentiments were reported dull amid falling global scrap prices.
