In recent conversation with industry participants SteelMint learned that, major Indian steel mill booked HRC export deal to Middle East last week for Aug-Sep shipments.
As per an update, a major Indian mill has booked 20,000 MT of HRC with Middle East at USD 495-500/MT on CFR basis for Aug- Sep shipments.
Prior to this, an Indian steelmaker had booked a small parcel of around 5000 MT of HRC with Middle East for Aug- Sep shipments at USD 525-530/MT CFR basis.
Indian HRC export offers to Vietnam- Indian steel mills are offering HRC export offers to Vietnam at around USD 495-500/MT CFR basis. Heard few position cargoes of 5000 MT of HRC was sold this week at USD 495/MT CFR Vietnam.
Meanwhile position cargoes of 5000 MT of HRC from other major mill was booked at similar levels.
Indian HRC export offers to Europe- Few industry participants shared that Indian HRC export offers to Europe is hovering around USD 500-510/MT CFR basis for Aug-Sep shipments. However the same could not confirmed at the time of publishing this report.
