Vizag Steel, a leading state-owned Pig iron producer, and exporter, has issued an export tender of 25,000 MT basic grade steel making Pig iron for any country other than Nepal.
This tender is due on 14 Aug’19. As per the delivery schedule, the last date of Shipment shall be 30 Sept’19.
Bidder is requested to submit his offer online with best price in USD per MT on FOB st Visakhapatnam on direct export basis
Specification:
Carbon: 3.5-4.8 %
Manganese: 0.50% max
Silicon: 1.5% max
Phosphorus: 0.18% max
Sulphur: 0.06% max
The bidders are requested to kindly consider port of loading as ‘Gangavaram port (GPL)’ only.

Towards the end of Jul’19, Indian mill was heard to have concluded a bulk parcel of 50,000 MT granulated pig iron (GPI) last week to China at around USD 340-350/MT FOB India east coast, SteelMint learned from market sources.
