South India (Karnataka) based – NMDC Donimalai Pellet Plant has reduced pellet offers by INR 330/MT to INR 6,500/MT as against last offer at INR 6,830/MT (FoT basis). This is the second time in a month they have decreased pellet price.
Current offers are on FoT basis for Fe 64% pellets for a quantity of 23,000 MT on advance payment basis. The price validity is till 31st July’19. Rake loading can be arranged at an extra cost of INR 105/MT (including GST).
Southern India (Bellary) based pellet makers offers for this week are assessed at INR 6,200-6,400/MT. P-DRI prices stands at INR 16,000/MT in line with last week assessement.
NMDC Ltd is operating 1.2 MnT pa capacity pellet plant located at Donimalai, Karnataka.
NMDC Donimalai iron ore mine to resume operations shortly
As per the recent press release, NMDC Donimalai iron ore mine is set to resume operations shortly, after closure of the mine for more than eight months. On 10th July’19, the Karnataka High Court announced its final judgment in favor of NMDC, thus need not pay premium for mining lease renewal at its Donimalai mines.
NMDC Donimalai has EC limit of 7 MnT p.a. and produces around 6-6.5 MnT iron ore annually.
