We mentioned in our last article about how RINL has planned to sell out the 80,000 tons of Pig iron it is holding at present, in terms of this tender  i.e. by adding 10,000 tons more (fresh stock) to the current 20,000 tons of the total stock.

We were expecting an export tender to come out shortly.

This new tender is an indication that RINL might award the 06 June tender to the single interested participant, for which it received bids on 19 July.

The state owned Pig iron maker is to decide about awarding the tender on the 22nd of July (Monday) only.

Production from one of its blast furnace is on hold from the 13th of July and is to continue up to the month of December, on repairs and maintenance reasons and to enhance the production capacity.
