Czech Republic Finished Steel Exports Fall in April

Czech Republic Finish long steel exports moved down by 7.15% in Apr’19, as per latest data released by custom department.

Finish long Steel export by Czech Republic down by 7.15% to 148,918 MT in Apr’19 as against 160,392 MT in Mar’19.

In line, on yearly basis the exports slightly down by 3.35% than the 154,085 MT in Apr’18.

Commodity wise – Country’s Rebar export registered at 90,791 MT in Apr’19 slightly down by 6.39% in comparion with 96,992 MT in Mar’19 followed by Structure (Angle & Shapes) – 30,013 MT (-12.49%) and wire rod – 28,114 MT (-3.39%).

Unload Country wise – Germany stood as top Finish long steel importer and registered at 36,302 MT in Apr’19 (-18.72%) followed by Slovakia – 33,135 MT in Apr’19 (+3.32%) and Poland at 24,095 MT (-5.18%) against previous month (Mar’19).

Country’s Ferrous Scrap exports inch up in Apr’19 – It’s been observed that ferrous scrap exports by Czech Republic stood at 189,461 MT in Apr’19 which is slightly up by around 2% than the 186,546 MT in Mar’19.

Unload Country wise – Germany stood as top ferrous scrap importer and registered at 84,106 MT in Apr’19 (+8.4%) followed by Poland – 39,400 MT in Apr’19 (-20.81%) and Austria at 21,676 MT (+8.85%) against previous month.
