Czech Republic Finish long steel imports in down by 10% Q-o-Q in Q1 CY’19- Nation’s finish long steel imports stood at 0.27 MnT in (Jan-Mar) Q1 CY’19, declined by 10% in comparison to 0.3 MnT in the previous quarter.
However on monthly basis the nation’s finish long imports stood at 0.09 MnT in Mar’19, remained stable for third consecutive month.
Whereas nation’s imports of finish long steel drop by 18% in Mar’19 as compared to 0.11 MnT in Mar’18.
Country-wise Czech Republic finish long imports in Q1 CY’19- Nation’s imports from Poland increased by 11% in current quarter to 0.10 MnT which was 0.09 MnT in Q4 CY’18.
Following this Czech Republic also imported finish long steel from Germany 0.05 MnT, Italy 0.04 MnT and Austria at 0.01 MnT in Q1 CY’19.
Czech Republic flat steel imports upsurge by 13% Q-o-Q in Q1 CY’19- Nation’s flat steel imports registered a surge by 13% in Q1 CY’19 to 1.23 MnT in comparison to 1.09 MnT in Q1 CY’18.
Meanwhile on monthly premise nation’s flat steel imports stood at 0.41 MnT in Mar’19, rose marginally by 3% from 0.4 MnT in previous month.
Whereas nation’s flat steel imports inched down by 2% in Mar’19 as compared to 0.42 MnT in the corresponding month of previous year.
Country-wise Czech Republic flat steel imports in Q1 CY’19- Nation’s flat steel imports from Germany spiked by 24% and stood at 0.31 MnT in Q1 CY’19 when compared with 0.25 MnT in preceding quarter.
Other major flat steel exporting countries to Czech Republic were Slovakia 0.23 MnT, Poland 0.13 MnT, Hungary 0.07 MnT, followed by Italy and Austria at 0.08 MnT each in Q1 CY’19
