This week imported HRC offers to Vietnam inch down on weekly basis from China. Chinese steel prices started tumbling since the USA govt announced increase in tariffs to 25% from 10% on USD 200 billion worth of Chinese imports.
This led to decline in HRC export offers from China by USD 5-10/MT towards the weekend.Thus currently imported HRC offers to Vietnam stood at USD 535-545/MT CFR basis.
Meanwhile Vietnam’s domestic integrated steel mill Formosa Ha Tinh will revise its monthly offers by the end of this week. Last offer of HRC (skin pass,SAE 1006) was heard around USD 550/MT CIF basis for May end June shipments.
Current HRC offers to Vietnam – Week 20, 2019
1.HRC (SAE 1006) 2-3mm/Chinese offer – Magang steel is at USD 535/MT CFR Vietnam for June shipments. Last week the offers was in range of USD 540/MT CFR basis.
2.HRC (SAE 1006) 2-3mm/Chinese offer – Baosteel is at USD 545/MT CFR Vietnam for June shipments.
3.HRC (SAE 1006) 2-3mm/Japanese offer – Nippon Steel is at USD 560/MT CFR Vietnam for June shipments.
4. HRC (SAE 1006) 2-3mm/Korean offer – Hyundai Steel is at USD 560/MT CFR Vietnam for June shipments.
5.HRC (SAE 1006) 2-3mm/Brazil offer – Arcelor Mittal is at USD 540/MT CFR Vietnam for June shipments.
6.HRC (SAE 1006) 2-3mm/Turkey offer – Habas Steel is at USD 522/MT CFR Vietnam for June shipments.
7.HRC (SAE 1006) 2-3mm/Russian offer – MMK Steel is at USD 520/MT CFR Vietnam for June shipments.
8.HRC (SAE 1006) 2-3mm/Indian offer – JSW Steel is at USD 542-545/MT CFR Vietnam.
