Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL)- state-owned steel maker under the Ministry of Steel, has invited export tender for 30,000 MT Billets. Interested bidders can submit their bids till 26 Apr’19 at 15:00 hrs.
As per the delivery schedule, the last date of shipment shall be 31 May’19. The offer given by the bidder will remain valid until 03 May’19.
The bidders are requested to consider port of loading as ‘Gangavaram port (GPL)’ only. Bidder is requested to submit his offer online with best price in usd per MT on FOB st Visakhapatnam (GPL) on a direct export basis.

Prior to this, the company had invited tender for export of 10,836 MT (equivalent to 4 rakes) Billet to Nepal on 5th Apr’19. The bid due date was on 16th Apr and offer validity was till 19th Apr. The delivery for the material is scheduled by 15 May’19.
As per sources, the company has received a dull response for this tender as out of total allotted billets, only about 1 rake (2,709 MT) has been sold out to the highest bidder.
Global billet export offers continue to soften amid dull demand and lowered bids for SE Asian nations. Offers from Russia is around USD 435-440/MT, FoB Black Sea.
