Czech Republic Finished Steel Import Statistics in Feb’19

Czech Republic Flat Steel Imports inch down by 5% M-o-M in Feb’19- Nation’s flat steel imports on monthly basis registered a marginal decline of 5% in Feb’19 to 0.4 MnT which was 0.42 MnT in Jan’19.

Where as on yearly premises the imports moved up by 3% in Feb’19 as compared to 0.39 MnT in Feb’18.

During first two months of (Jan-Feb) CY’19 nation’s imports stood at 0.82 MnT remained at similiar levels in Jan-Feb’18.

Country-wise Czech Republic Flat steel imports in Feb’19- Czech Republic imported 0.10 MnT of flat steel from Germany in Feb’19 which was 0.11 MnT in Jan’19.

Following this nation imported flat steel from Slovakia at 0.08 MnT (20%), Poland at 0.04 MnT (10%), Italy and Austria at 0.03 MnT (7%) in Feb’19.

Finished long steel imports remain stable M-o-M in Feb’19- Nation’s finish long imports stood at 0.09 MnT remained stable in Jan and Feb’19.

On a yearly basis, imports registered a fall by 10 % in Feb’19 against 0.1 MnT in Feb’18.

During first two months (Jan-Feb) CY’19 nation’s long steel imports declined by 14% to 0.18 MnT in comparison to 0.21 MnT in same time frame of previous year.

Country-wise Czech Republic Long steel imports in Feb’19- Poland stood as the largest finish long steel exporting country to the Czech Republic at 0.04 MnT followed by Germany at 0.02 MnT and Italy at 0.01 MnT in Feb’19.
