Yesterday the ex-factory price of general carbon billet in Tangshan,Changli and Qian’an areas was settled at RMB 3,440/MT up by RMB 10/MT. Today, the price of billet is temporarily stable with plain transactions. The mainstream price of finished products tends to go down. The specific transactions are as follows:
Billet: Mill straight sales are in average quantity. The ex-warehouse spot price is around RMB 3,500/MT with a few transactions. The billet inventory at warehouse of Xiangyu Zhengfeng and Haiyi Hongrun totaled 785,400 tons, down 9,000 tons. The overall sales of finished products are plain, tepid and the billet is expected to remain stable in the afternoon.
Construction steel: Market mainstream price in Tangshan rose by RMB 10/MT, and the current market price for rebar HRB400 of big specification is at RMB 3,870/MT small specification at RMB 3,920/MT, while coiled rebar at RMB 3,960/MT with plain transactions.
HRC: Tangshan HRC Market continues to hold steady, with 3.0mm coil at RMB 3,770/MT, mainstream price of 5.5mm flattened at RMB 3,750/MT, Q345 flattened at RMB 3,910/MT. Transaction was somewhat weak.
Medium plate: Tangshan mid-plate market moved up by RMB 10/MT compared with yesterday, and now price of general carbon plate 14-22mm is at RMB 3,930/MT, low alloy plate at RMB 4,130/MT, all in plain transactions.
