MMTC (Metals and Minerals Trading Corporation of India Limited), a Government of India Enterprise floats tender for purchase of High Carbon Silico Manganese Lumps for supply to NINL, Duburi, Orissa through open tender from the manufacturers/traders.
NINL (Neelachal Ispat Nigam Ltd.), one of the largest producers of Pig Iron, Coke, etc will be entering into steel production. The plant will be producing about 1.1 million t of steel in Phase I and is in need of various steel making raw materials like ferro alloys, limestone, Calcined lime, etc. This tender is to cater to the need of NINL for the above purpose.
MMTC Ltd., which is one of the promoter companies of NINL, shall procure these items from the domestic and overseas suppliers and supply to M/s NINL Limited.
General Conditions:
- Supplier has successfully supplied HC Silico Manganese to many Indian Steel Manufacturing Unit (since January 2009).
- Tenderers will have to offer minimum 50% quantity in their offer.

- Mn: 60% Min
- Si: 14% Min
- Size: 25‐50 mm
Quantity: 500 MT (+/‐ 5%)
Price Term: FOR Destination, NINL Kalinganagar, inclusive of Road Freight, Packaging and forwarding, Insurance, etc.
Mode of Delivery: By Road. To be arranged by Seller
Delivery Period: Supply of 100 MT immediately. Balance as per NINL schedule
(approx. 100 MT every 15 days). MMTC reserves the right to extend the Delivery Period
up to a max 2 months.
