Saria prices rose by Rs 200 per tone in the wholesale steel market today on emergence of stockists buying and pick up in demand.
Marketmen said emergence of stockists buying followed by rise in demand pushed up the wholesale saria prices.
In the saria section, Kamdhenu 8-mm,10-mm and 12-mm were up by Rs 200 each to Rs 39,900, Rs 39,600 and Rs 38,300 per tone, respectively. Similarly, saria 16-25-mm traded higher by the same margin at Rs 38,150 per tonne.
