India: South African Coal import increases by 74% in July

Coal imports from South Africa has shown up an increase of 74% in the month of July mainly because of heavy rainfalls in Indonesia, importers said.

 

Vessel freight from South African port has gone by $2/MT (Current vessel freight $ 19/MT-$20/MT), where as freight charges from Indonesian port has gone down by $2/MT mainly due to unavailability of cargo at the ports said importers based in India.
