Steel Authority of India – a government of India Company has floated the export tender for 13,500 MT billets from its Durgapur Steel Plant. The tender put up for Prime Mild Steel Non-Alloy Concast billets of 125*125mm. The material offered has specifications: C-0.23-0.28%, Mn-0.6-1%, S-0.05% max, P-0.05% max, Si-0.15-0.3%.
The length of the billets is 9-12 metres. The material shipping is scheduled within 21 Feb’19. Due date for bid submission is 15:00 hrs as per IST on 22 Dec’18.
The cargo will be shipped from Haldia port.
As per sources, previous tender of SAIL for which bid validity was till 6 Dec’18, fetched bids around USD 435/MT, FoB.
SAIL’s 16,200 MT Billet export tender from IISCO – SAIL had also floated 16,200 MT billet export tender for end Jan’19 shipment. The bid due date expired today.
