Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL)- the state-owned steel maker under the Ministry of Steel, has invited tender for export of Wire rods, Billets and Blooms to Nepal. The quantity for each product is 5,418 MT and the minimum offered quantity for each products is 2,709 MT.
As per the delivery schedule, last date of delivery period shall be 15 Jan’19.The offer given by the bidder will remain valid till 20 Dec’18.

Nepal’s buying interest for Indian induction grade billet remains low– The latest export offers for induction grade billets (100*100 mm) from eastern India, Durgapur hovering at USD 445/MT ex-mill, equivalent to USD 470/MT CFR Raxaul border(Nepal)
As per exporters, earlier this week small lots of Billet have been sold out at close to USD 440-445/MT ex-mill at Durgapur.
Meanwhile mute demand is being reported for Wire rod which offers are currently evaluated at USD 535-540/MT ex-mill, Durgapur. On CFR Nepal basis it would cost about USD 560-565/MT CFR Raxaul border, Nepal.
