India: NMDC to Auction 188,000 MT Iron Ore from Chhattisgarh Mines

India’s largest iron ore miner – National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) is going to conduct an e-auction of 60,000 MT calibrated lump ore, 16,000 MT ROM, 72,000 MT iron ore lump and 40,000 MT iron ore fines.

NMDC reduced iron ore prices by 7.8% for its December deliveies from Chhattisgarh mines. Miner has cut DR-CLO prices by INR 360/MT; Baila lump by INR 300/MT and Baila fines by INR 200/MT. Amid decline in iron ore prices of Odisha merchant miners and decline in pellet offers, miner had cut offers.
