Serajuddin Mines, a merchant Iron ore miner, having mining operations in the state of Odisha, with 2 MnTPA production capacity, has lowered lumps prices by Rs 500/MT.
Whereas, fines prices remain unchanged at previous levels.
Serajuddin Mines Iron ore prices w.e.f 30 July:
Sized Iron ore (lumps) 5-18 mm & Fe 63 = Rs 4,860/MT, down by Rs 500/MT
Iron ore fines Fe 63 = Rs 1,860/MT, unchanged
Iron ore fines Fe 60 = Rs 1,460/MT, unchanged
Prices are loaded to wagons at Jaroli siding, including Royalty
Serajuddin mines has for the second time in July, revised prices of lumps.
Only a couple of weeks earlier i.e. on the 15th of July, offers were pulled down by Rs 400/MT with no alteration in fines prices.
Demand in lumps has been quite weak in the current month as Sponge iron prices are not picking up and Iron Pellet manufacturers have been offering the material at an all time low prices.
