Neelachal Ispat Nigam Limited (NINL), operating a 1.1 MnT integrated steel plant at Cuttack (Odisha), has raised prices of Concast Steel Billet Grade IS 2830 by Rs 1,500/MT w.e.f 30 July.
Current offers for Billet are standing at Rs 29,500/MT (Ex NINL plant basis) for retail sales only.
Prices valid up to the 16th of August
Though, the present steel market conditions do not support any price hike owing to poor demand, NINL decided to offer Billet, with an increase in price due to its high quality.
Previous to this, the state owned producer kept the Billet prices at Rs 28,000/MT (Basic) unchanged on the 2nd of July.
