Turkish merchant bar producers have slashed export offer prices by $50 per tonne for October production on weak demand and lack of consumers returning to the market after Ramadan.
Scrap prices have also weaken on poor demand. Scrap from Europe being quoted at $385-390 CFR Turkey after it touched $400/MT.
