This week imported HRC offers to Vietnam reported further decline in line with lower HRC offers from China. Dull demand and comparatively high supply has continued to keep offers under pressure. However overseas buyers are also bidding on lower side amid thin buying.
Currently imported HRC (SAE 1006) is assessed around USD 530-540/MT CFR basis. Last week the same offers were at USD 540-550/MT CFR basis. On weekly basis, drop of USD 10/MT can be noticed.
Current HRC trade offers to Vietnam – Week 46, 2018
1.HRC (SAE 1006) 2-3mm / Chinese offer – Benxi Steel is at USD 542/MT CFR Vietnam.Last week the offers was at USD 550/MT CFR.
2.HRC (SAE 1006) 2-3mm / Chinese offer – Baosteel Steel is at USD 542/MT CFR Vietnam.
3.HRC (SAE 1006) 2-3mm / Chinese offer – Xinyu Steel is at USD 530/MT CFR Vietnam.
4.HRC (SAE 1006) 2-3mm / Chinese offer – Magang Steel is at USD 530/MT CFR Vietnam.
5.Confirmed trade deal heard last week that major Indian mill has recently concluded HRC export deal for 20,000 MT HRC at around USD 540/MT, CFR to one of Vietnam’s leading producer of Galvanized and pre-painted steel sheet.
6.HRC (SAE 1006)) 2-3mm/ Korea offer at USD 575/MT CFR basis.
