Imported HRC offers to Vietnam witnessed constant drop in line with lower export offers from major steel producing nations like China, Russia and India.Weaker trades in global market over dull buying results to persistent decline in imported HRC offers to Vietnam.
Currently imported HRC (SAE 1006) is assessed around USD 540-550/MT CFR basis. These levels were last seen in Sept’17.Thus Chinese HRC offer to Vietnam fall 1 year low as the same levels were recorded last in Sep 2017.
However last week the offers was in the range of USD 545-555/MT CFR basis.
In addition to this,Vietnam domestic Formosa Steel is offering HRC (skin pass) on lower side which is around USD 570/MT CIF Ho Chi Minh City.
Current HRC trade offers to Vietnam – Week 45, 2018
1.HRC (SAE 1006) 2-3mm / Chinese offer – Benxi Steel is at USD 550/MT CFR Vietnam.Last week the offers was at USD 555/MT CFR.
2.HRC (SAE 1006) 2-3mm / Chinese offer – Rizhao Steel is at USD 545/MT CFR Vietnam.
3.HRC (SAE 1006) 2-3mm / Chinese offer – Laiwu Steel is at USD 540/MT CFR Vietnam.
4.HRC (SAE 1006) 2-3mm / Chinese offer – Shandong Steel is at USD 540/MT CFR Vietnam.
5.HRC (SAE1006) 2-3 mm/Ukraine offer- Zaporizhstal steel is at USD 518/MT CFR basis for small coils.
6.HRC (SAE 1006)) 2-3mm/ Indian offer at USD 550/MT CFR basis.Last offers was at USD 560-565/MT CFR basis.However no deals at fresh offers were concluded.
